Meet Dr. Mike Meier
Growing up watching my dad practice dentistry, I always found it interesting. However, it took me a while to realize that it was my calling, too. I’m so glad I did; I love being able to help people with their pain, with their oral and overall health, with their smile, and with their self-confidence.
It’s so rewarding to see a patient so happy with their new smile that they can’t stop smiling! It’s even more exciting when that patient never used to smile because they were unhappy with their teeth!
As a lifelong resident of Saskatoon, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my community in such a worthwhile way.
In order to become a dentist, I completed my dental degree at the University of Saskatchewan. Since then, continuing education has been an important part of my practice. I attend regular meetings of the Saskatoon Dental Society and courses on a wide range of topics, both close to home and further abroad. I want to be able to provide our patients with the benefits of advancements in dental research and technology.
As my own education is very important to me, I also believe that patient education is vital to their oral health. I believe that when patients understand what is going on in their mouths, they are better able to make the decisions and changes necessary to improve their own oral health.
